Prayer Request..

As most of you all may know Miss Kaleigh has been a sick little girl this past week. After spending a night at UK Children's Hospital the Dr.'s diagnosed her with Reactive Airway Disease (which was described to us as being similar but not exactly like Asthma) a slight case of Pneumonia as well as an ear infection. They prescribed her steroids, antibiotics & breathing treatments. I have been off work the past couple days to keep her home and make sure she gets the best care possible, from me :) Thankfully Kaleigh is starting to become her old self again. Crawling EVERYWHERE and mostly places she is not suppose to.Walking around the couch & climbing the stairs! Whewww.. YES IM TIRED!! Please continue to pray for her as I know God has been listening....

Pray for Me to get better FAST!
LOVE YOU KALEIGH

Snow Days with a 7 month old!

Hey Bloggers!! Miss Kaleigh will be 7 months old tomorrow, can't you believe it? Although I HATE snow, I did in fact get to spend the entire day with my lovely little baby due to the icy roads. She is all over the place, literally. Of course, she is getting into everything that she is not suppose to get in to. If I say "no" she smiles and giggles and continues with her mischief. I try to be tough but it's so hard not to smile when that pretty little face is looking up at you and laughing. Her new things this week; trying to wave...trying to talk more and more...cruising around the couch with no effort.. eating Graduate snacks (strawberry apple puffs which she LOVES! She is officially 7 months old at 5:32 tomorrow..so be thinking of her at that exact time, I know I will ....Everyone be safe and have a good week :)

My Wild Child...

Happy Thursday! So...Miss Kaleigh has officially been deemed the WILD CHILD! She is all over the house and isn't looking back. What happened to my baby?? It's GO GO GO, all the time..  Today at work I seen a women with her (9 lb) baby and I can not even remember Kaleigh being that small!! I almost cried (and are fighting back tears as we speak). I feel like I blinked and she is nearly 7 months old. Lots of people told me,"they grow up so fast" and "cherish these moments while you can" but you really don't understand what they mean until the moments are in the past and your looking around wondering where your little baby disappeared to. I am so thankful for every single day with kaleigh. She literally makes me smile thinking about her. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing her learn and grow before my eyes, but it's heart breaking because I do not plan on having any more children and I can not get those moments back....Luckily I'm a stalker mom and take 100 pictures of her a day to document her every move..lol
Below are some pictures of Kaleigh's newest hobby...Making Mommy & Daddy a nervous wreck. She can't walk but already climbing...it's scary!
On the move...to the steps

Princess Checkup!

Hey Bloggers! Kaleigh and I just came back from her well baby check up.. She will be 7 months old on the 16th and she weighed 16.5 lbs and was 27" long. Her weight was in the 50th percentile and her height was in the 75th. So she's going to be tall like her daddy :) Oh, and her head was of normal size for her age..lol I thought that was so funny when they were measuring her head, i was like, "is there something wrong with my babys head?" it was perfect size of course. Also, she had her second round of shots, (5 shots--3 pokes) and believe it or not she did great with them. She is already crawling around the living room as we speak. Can't hold her down! She did however have an ear infection :( so he gave her some antibiotics. The Dr. wants her to see a specialist for her lungs due to the fact that she has been wheezy for a while now. He doesn't seem to think that it is anything serious, but we don't want to take a chance. Please pray for her!
---Our little princess is a master at crawling at this point. She is quick and hard to keep up with. To my dismay, only because I want my baby to be little forever, she has discovered the steps! Oh NO! I'm in so much trouble, she already attempted to climb. What am I going to do?

She has learned many new things in these past two weeks including:
* clapping
* stanging up and semi-cruising on the couch
* saying "dada" on a regular basis

Hope you enjoyed the update, have a good day! love kacee

Thoughts from the heart..

THE BEST THINGS IN MY LIFE ARE FREE...
KALEIGHS LAUGH, HER SMILE, HER HAPPINESS..
THE WAY SHE CRY'S WHEN I WALK OUT OF THE ROOM
OR REACHES FOR ME WHEN I PICK HER UP FROM DAYCARE.
MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND WHO TAKES CARE OF US,
LISTENS TO ME WHEN I CRY, KEEPS ME LAUGHING
AND IS THE BEST DADDY TO MISS KALEIGH.
THEY ARE MY EVERYTHING, MY WHOLE WORLD.
I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE THEM IN MY LIFE
LOVE YOU B & KALEIGH!
