Fall is Upon Us..

Fall is finally here and Kaleigh spent the first day with Brian and DiAnne! From the looks of these pictures, she had a GREAT time! She is finally starting to feel better. Thanks to all of you who have been praying for her. It really means a lot to us. Just so everyone knows how smart my baby is I wanted to share some stories :)

Story #1 We were playing in her room this morning...she brings her wipes to me and says, "I pooped" and she really did! I mean, what 14 month old does that?
Story #2 She was taking out markers and counting them, correctly. One...Two...Three!

*She can repeat ANYTHING you ask her to. She will listen to your commands (when she wants to). If you ask her to bring you something, or pick something up or take something to the trash can for example.

I can only imagaine the years to come...hope you enjoy the pics Brian and DiAnne took yesterday.. They are so cute!

Calling All Prayers!!

TWO LITTLE GIRLS NEED YOUR PRAYERS.....

First off...

After a long night of worrying, frustration, fever, tears, BOTTLES, snot and lots of hugs. I decided to call Kaleigh's Dr.!! She hasn't been feeling good the past week and I have been so worried about her. Luckily, they worked her in today so I wouldn't have to take her to the ER. She has STREP THROAT & EAR INFECTION... Her allergies are also bothering her. Mix all that together  = one sick little girl. Hopefully the meds will work....and QUICK!!

VERY IMPORTANT..My long time friend Ashley (Goble) McKinney's little girl Shannon Taylor needs your prayers !  She has been battling Pneumonia. She was recently admitted to Pikeville Medical Center and they ended up flying her to UK Children's Hospital. She has fluid near her lungs and still has Pneumonia. She has been sick for a couple weeks now. Please say a special prayer for her as well as her Mommy. She is about to celebrate her First Birthday and needs to get home to her families.

Get Well Soon Shan!! We Love you and can't wait until your better so we can have a play date :)

WEEKEND GET AWAY..

Hey Everyone! We took a quick trip to Lexington over the weekend. We stayed with Aunt T & Uncle Steve on Friday night and Aunt Missy & Uncle Greg on Saturday. It was so nice to see everyone. It felt like it had been forever since we last seen one another. Kaleigh's little face lit up with joy when she entered the Tackett's house late Friday night to see all of the toys ;) Thanks to Mr. Ian for leaving them behind for her to play with. Saturday was a day of visiting all of our friends and family before a get together on Sunday to celebrate Greg and Zach's upcoming Birthdays. HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE GREG ( SEPT 9th) &  COUSIN ZACH (SEPT 11th) FROM KALEIGH BUG!!!! SHE LOVES YOU BOTH VERY MUCH.

In Kaleigh news....She is being very VOCAL lately. She is repeating every single word you ask her to. I can't even list the words that she can say now. She is completely amazing, no lie :) She loves packing her Dora purses around, eating blueberries and bananas,  She is obsessed with putting her frogs/weebles & animals in a perfect row in front of the television before bed time. She recognizes a STOP sign and will say STOP, Orange Tangerine Juicy Juice is her favorite, She flirts with all boys (lord please help me), attempts to get into the garbage can every single day, refuses to watch any other DVD but Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Her biggest accomplishment at 13 months is forming sentences & recognizing pictures/objects and saying the word.
