Finally the crib has arrived!

So.. I am super excited! Mom and I picked up the crib yesterday! I came home from the store and Brentton had it put together for us...OMG I absolutely LOVE it! It's a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be and I can't even imagine our little baby girl in that big crib all alone
:( She's not even here yet and I'm already worried about her...lol.. Please stay tuned for more room renovations!!

25 weeks & 3 days Happy :)

Hey everyone! So, this week has been great. Kaleigh is very, very active. She's always moving and jumping around. I swear she's either going to be a gymnast or a soccer player. To be 2 lbs and kick as hard as she does, it's pretty amazing.... well at least to me it is, but I'm a little prejudice I think she's awesome already...lol Other than feeling really tired, we're doing great! I'm definitely ready for the weekend to be with my hubby. We plan on going tomorrow to register at Babies'r'us & Walmart in preparation for the showers. We are also picking up the crib and the rest of the border and hopefully finishing up her room a little more :) So exciting weekend to come !! Hope everyone enjoys there's as well :)

Love Always,

Ok.. So I can't get over this...

Kaleigh's great grandma bought her first shoes & headband. Are they not the cutest thing you have ever seen? So adorable! I couldn't wait to share them with everyone.

Story Time!

We have started reading to our little one! We recently decided that every week we will buy 2-3 books to start her little library. I have begun reading her bedtime stories. Corduroy was the first book I read to her. It was one of my favorite books when I was little so I knew she would love it. Last night I read her The Velveteen Rabbit, which is a classic favorite. I think she already loves it :) I know it might seem silly..but I enjoy it!

Baby Room in the Making...

Here are some pics of Kaleigh's room (in the making). The crib is missing :( But we found out it came in today and we just have to go pick it up. I have a pic of the border which matches the crib bedding we want, but it's also not up yet, but will be soon. As soon as the room is finished I will post a pic of the completed picture. We can't wait til our little princess gets her to see her new home :)

I'm 24 weeks Pregnant!

Wow! I can't believe that I am already 24 weeks. Time has flown by so fast! A lot of things are changing this week; For starters, my belly is getting so much bigger..this morning I felt so much bigger than yesterday..lol I'm starting to have a lot of back pain unfortunately and it doesn't help that I have to sit all day at work :( I try to get up and walk around when possible. My balance as well as my mind have somehow left me..lol I can't seem to remember ANYTHING! I'm hoping that will slowly fade away once the baby gets here. Overall I am feeling great :) Although I seem to get aggravated very easily, I'm generally in a good mood. The most amazing thing this week is how strong her movements are becoming. I can see her moving when I look at my stomach now, its so cool! Enough about me... what's happening with Kaleigh this week?

From babycenter.com

Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts her at just over a pound. Since she's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), she cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but her body is filling out proportionally and she'll soon start to plump up. Her brain is also growing quickly now, and her taste buds are continuing to develop. Her lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help her air sacs inflate once she hits the outside world. Her skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.

Good News!!!! :)

Hey Guys!

We just got back from our monthly checkup as well as our ultrasound. My Dr.s appointment was wonderful, everything is normal. Our ultrasound went fantastic :) Kaleigh looks perfectly normal and healthy. She weighed in at 1lb 6oz. She was moving around the entire time. It was so amazing because we got to see her move her fingers around and put them in her mouth. WOW! It's so hard to believe that we created such a miracle. The technician said she looked great and was growing right on schedule. I have some great pictures of the ultrasound I will putting up as soon as I scan them. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers we love you all :)

Appointment Updates!

Hey Everyone!

This Friday is my monthly check-up at 8:30 am followed by another ultrasound @ 1:45. Don't worry though, nothing is wrong.. It's just that at our last ultrasound Kaleigh was being stubborn (wonder who she gets that from??) and refused to turn over so they could complete the anatomy scan...lol therefore we have to go back. They got 80% of what they needed and it all looked perfectly normal. We are super excited, we both love seeing her moving around , its amazing!

Let's hope she cooperates and we get some good pictures :)

What's happening with Kaleigh this week ? (23)

From babycenter.com....

How our baby's growing this week:
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound and you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.

Where did that come from?

What we're eating this week

So... I just had the best ice cream in the world! Maggie Moos Better Batter with peanut butter cups :) It was even better than it sounds..lol I crave almost anything these days. I finally got my appetite back after the horrible morning sickness I had for 15 weeks. My favorites this week; strawberries ,bananas, frozen peaches, Ceaser salads, GIRL SCOUT COOKIES ( of all kinds, I ordered way to many boxes) & I seem to be wanting Milk all day long.

I hope our little one like's what I'm eating now because this week she is tasting things for the first time :) I'm sure the ice cream did her good.

22 Weeks Pregnant

I am 22 weeks pregnant! This week has been very exciting for us :) We have started the nursery for our little angel and its starting to look beautiful. Brentton and I decided to do her room in pink & green. Most of the baby furniture is in except for the crib :( It's on back order but will be here shortly. We have been obsessed with baby clothes this week for some reason. Everytime we see something we love we just HAVE to have it...We bought her these little pink UK bodysuits yesterday and they are ADORABLE :)

I will have pictures of her room up as soon as its completed
