My Fairy Tale...

As I lie awake watching my little angel sleep, I realize how much my life has changed in the past 5 years....

I graduated from high school in 2004 with a broken heart. Lost, without any hope of being happy again. I thought to myself "I'm going to be miserable for the rest of my life." I was only 18. While attempting to pass the time I stumbled upon someone who would change my life forever. At first, I was nervous to have such overwhelming emotion towards one individual. I knew he was something special. I moved to Lexington in May of 2006 because I fell in love with a guy. Not just any guy, but THE GUY I knew I would spend the rest of my life with. I was only 19. We over came many obstacles but ultimately couldn't bare to live without one another. In October of 2007 my dream came true and he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I was only 21. At this point I wondered how I ever got so lucky. I thought to myself, "can life get any better than this?" On July 26,2008 I married my best friend. As I looked into his eyes and testified to love and honor him all the days of my life, I was for sure I had reached the peak of my happiness. I was only 22. As we embarked on our journey together, an un-expected miracle occurred. On November 4,2008 we discovered we were pregnant :) Life had begun.....Kaleigh Madison was born on July 16,2009, 10 days shy of my first wedding anniversary. I am only 23.

Now, 3 months later I can't believe how fast the years have flown by. I have grown into such a different person than I was 5 years ago. Although I nor my life is perfect, I am truly happy with the direction my life is headed. This is all a testament to how God has blessed me with things I thought only happened in fairy tales. To him I am grateful.

-For Brentton & Kaleigh, I love you :)
