We are moving this Saturday!!! I can hardly believe it. I have spent the last 4 years of my life here in Lexington. I met my husband, got engaged then married and gave birth to our beautiful daughter all in that time. This townhouse was the first place we lived after our wedding and the first home to Miss Kaleigh Madison. I can't imagine not waking up here! This is a bittersweet moment for me. I am truly excited to be closer to our familes but will miss all the great times and memories we made here. I will miss not being able to run to Wal-Mart at 3:00 am if needed...Panera Bread & Jimmy Johns...living next to two different grocery stores, which might I add are open all night!....STARBUCKS... the mall...but most of all I will miss all THE CASTLE employees.. I worked there for 4 years and met some of my closest friends who are more like family to me :) Wish us luck and pray for good weather!
Adios Lexington...Hola Prestonsburg....
With Love, Kacee
Lexington's loss is our gain. We have been truly blessed to have you in our lives. Now that you both gave us one of the best gifts that we ever had in Kaleigh we can now enjoy her more often. I remember as a little boy leaving my grandparents on our way back to Michigan and watching my grandfather have to go behind the house. I now know how he felt every time we left because I too felt that pain. Anxiously awaiting your arrival and praying for a safe move. You still have alot more times to move to catch up to us though.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how you feel! I am a very sentimental person, and I'm not very fond of change, but it is very admirable that you all are considering the fact that it is important for Kaleigh to grow up around family. You all have proven many times that you are mature, loving and caring parents, and this too speaks that! You all have been blessed with Kaleigh, and she has been blessed with you too!
ReplyDeleteYou do such a wonderful job with this blog and taking pictures, and Kaleigh will have both to look back on all the memories made in Lexington.
This move will start a new chapter in your little book where there will be many new adventures and memories made along the way!
Praying for you all though, as I know it will be hard!
